Coach Lawrence Veal

A proud Fontana native, Coach Lawrence Veal has dedicated his life to basketball and his community. He began his collegiate basketball career with two standout years at Chaffey Community College, before transferring to Western Oregon University, where he competed in the GNAC Conference for two more seasons.

After his playing career, Coach Veal transitioned into coaching, starting as a Junior Varsity Assistant Coach at Alta Loma High School. His passion for developing young talent extended beyond high school, as he has volunteered for youth recreational basketball programs in both the City of Rialto and the City of Fontana. Additionally, he conducts basketball classes with the City of Rialto, further contributing to the growth of local youth players.

Currently, Coach Veal serves as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Entrepreneur High School in Fontana, a role that allows him to deepen his commitment to shaping the next generation of athletes.

As a husband and father of two, he strives to be a role model not just on the court, but in life. Beyond coaching, Coach Veal is passionate about entrepreneurship, constantly seeking ways to inspire young athletes to pursue their dreams, both in sports and beyond. His love for basketball and dedication to his community remain at the heart of everything he does.
